Super Bowl Sunday is here, and that means it’s time to start thinking food!
We’ve got a bunch of recipes for Super Bowl party eats from classic things like wings and nachos to some epic dishes like ribs sandwiches, tacos, and more. Whatever you want for you and your mates for the big game, we’ve got it.
I remember cooking my first rack of pork ribs about 10 years ago, and the absolute mess I made of them until I discovered how easy they were. Learning how to cook pork ribs well is one of the easiest BBQ recipes you can master. Pair it with an amazing rub and glaze and you’re all set.
A good taco has become an art form, yet the tastiest amongst them are also the simplest. Super fresh ingredients, quality meat and a simple corn tortilla. We thought we’d give it a shot by combining two of our favourite things and creating beef shin tacos.
I’ve tried a few different combinations of rubs and sauces over the years, but this is probably the best mix that I have landed on. Cooked in the kettle at a high heat, you get some crispness to the wings while basting them in the sauce a few times to add the tang.
One of our favourite things to do with leftover brisket is to turn it into a chili and serve as fantastic brisket nachos. We decided to swap out the corn chips this time and pair it with some homemade potato chips, sliced thin, crisped up and pimped with some chilli salt.
Pulled pork is so yesterday. The Rib Sandwich is our new go to pork dish, because it’s a meal in itself. Plenty of meat, crunch, sweet, heat and sauce. You’re welcome.
Pulled pork is one of those dishes that every BBQer needs in their repertoire. It’s a classic low and slow staple that simply requires smoking until tender enough to pull apart with fork.
This recipe for bacon wrapped jalapeños comes courtesy of Ryan’s Low and Slow up in Brisbane, who took our Pork Rub for a spin and created these insanely great tasting bombs of flavour, glazed in smoked honey.
